Marina Leisure Centre is located in the centre of Great Yarmouth in the main tourist area. It’s prominent location next to the beech contributes to its high use by both local residents and tourists throughout the year.
The existing resin floor was criticised by its users for being difficult to maintain and clean and providing no elasticity which is now expected in multi-use sports halls. The worn appearance of the floor gave a tired and outdated appearance to the facility. Significant research was carried out by the clients looking into a suitable replacement. Pica Floorings were able to offer a number of different solutions all with various benefits. Junckers 22mm Sylvasport Premium Beech on Uno 45mm battens was chosen offering the best all round performance for the different activities. The systems meet the BSEN 14904 Part 4 and will achieve a 25yr guarantee.
