A 22mm Junckers Beech floor was laid to a new build primary school in 2001.  The floor had been poorly cleaned over the years without carrying out any maintenance to the floor.

Pica were  asked to provide advice on the condition of the floor.  Due to its condition, a full refurbishment of the floor was required.  The floor was sanded back to bare wood and Junckers HP sport was applied to give the floor the durability it needed in this high wear area within the school.

The school were delighted with the finish to the floor which has transformed the room providing a safe floor finish which is easy to clean and maintain.  The school were provided with all the information they needed to correctly clean and maintain the floor in the future which, if followed correctly will alleviate the need for another full sand for many years to come.
